WORCESTER – The Our Lady of Mount Carmel and Our Lady of Loreto Italian Festival returns this week.
The Italian Festival is being held in the parking lot of Our Lady of Loreto at 33 Massasoit Rd. from Aug. 11-14.
Here’s the schedule:
- Thursday, August 11 – 5 PM to 10 PM
- Friday, August 12 – 5 PM to 11 PM
- Saturday, August 13 – 12 PM to 11 PM
- Sunday, August 14 – 12 PM to 6 PM
The Mount Carmel and Loreto parish will be serving sausage, pepper and onion sandwiches, cheeseburgers, hot dogs, fried dough, cookies, soda, beer and wine.
Food vendors include:
- Pepe’s Italian Restaurant: assorted pizzas
- Russo Italian Restaurant: calamari, Italian grinders and alcoholic Froze
- Boulevard Diner: pasta, meatballs and eggplant
- La Cucina Italian: tripe and chicken parmigiana
- Simply Cannoli: assortment of cannoli
- Moe’s Sweet Eats: chicken tenders, French fries and fried Oreos

- Saturday: Allan D’Allesandro, Johnny Vincent and Drive South

Parking:
There is handicap parking located next to the church. Additional parking is available at Rice Square school and along side streets in the area.
