WORCESTER – The Major Taylor Association is hosting the 2022 George Street Bike Challenge next month and are raffling off a Giant Talon 4 mountain bike from Barney’s Bicycle.
The 18th edition George Street Bike Challenge for Major Taylor will take place on July 24 at George Street and Main Street in Worcester.
Raffle tickets are $5 each, or three for $12, or six for $20. The drawing will be held on July 24 following the George Street Bike Challenge.
Tickets can be purchased online here or at the Bike Challenge.
Raffle tickets can also be ordered by mail by sending a check payable to the Major Taylor Association by July 18. Orders must inclue a note saying “raffle” and be mailed to Major Taylor Association, P.O. Box 20131, Worcester, MA 01602. An email address or phone number must be included on the note. The raffle tickets will be mailed back.
Other raffle prizes include a limited-edition giclée print of Major Taylor signed by artist James Arnold, a Major Taylor cycling jersey and more. For more information, click here.
