Lower Electricity Costs Expected Across MA this Spring and Summer

WALTHAM - National Grid announced on Monday that Massachusetts customers of its residential basic service can expect lower costs this spring and summer, with an estimated savings of 9.4% for the average customer.

The Massachusetts Department of Public Utilities approved recent rate proposals that will reduce the average bill for a residential electric from from $176.76 to $160.15.

National Grid has a Budget Billing Plan which spreads monthly payments more evenly across the entire year.
