SPENCER – A National Grid Worker that was struck by a car on Main St. in Spencer last month has died, according to a report from NBC Boston.
The news station is reporting that Paul Germano, 50, of Dudley has died from injuries he sustained in the accident.
As ThisWeekinWorcester.com reported on July 31, Spencer police were called to Main and Greenville Streets for the report of a pedestrian crash.
Germano was struck by an operator driving a 2015 Nissan Juke.
According to Spencer PD, Germano was in the eastbound lane of Main St.marking underground piping for a future construction project in town.
The operator of the Juke — a North Brookfield woman – was traveling eastbound when the crash occurred.Both Germano and the operator of the Juke were taken to UMass Medical by EMT.
