Nearly an Inch of Rain Expected in Worcester Starting Monday

WORCESTER – The current forecast from the National Weather Service [NWS] is calling for nearly an inch of rain to fall in Worcester and northern Central Massachusetts on Monday.

According to NWS, the rain is expected to start late Sunday night and into Monday morning. The rain will continue as the day goes on. The heaviest rain is expected before 2 PM on Monday — with a quarter and a half of an inch possible.

Light rain is expected to continue into Monday evening before 8 PM.

The forecast calls for additional rainfall on Tuesday afternoon beginning after 11 AM and continuing well into the evening.
