Music from another Worcester singer took the national stage on Wednesday night.
My Silent Bravery — fronted by Worcester native Matthew Wade — released its new album Holding Out for Hope on Monday, January 6.
A single from the new album, “Something Beautiful,” was featured Wednesday night on the season premier of the 15th and final season of Criminal Minds on CBS.
Wade teamed up with Jimmy McGorman of the Goo Goo Dolls to write and produce Holding Out for Hope.
The album also features singles “Hideaway”, “After the party,” “Hey Miss” and “Holding Out (featuring Maurico).” Listen to them here.
Wade said “Holding Out for Hope” is about exploring new ground and remaining hopeful in the process.
“Good things are going to happen when you keep fighting for what you want. Great things take time. Hope is stronger than fear. Don’t worry have faith that it will all work out and it will, just maybe not as you had planned it,” he said.
In addition to being featured on Criminal Minds, My Silent Bravery has another song — “Hearts Breakdown” — to be played in the independent film Psycho Party Planner on Lifetime this Sunday.
