NO SCHOOL: Worcester Public Schools Closed on Monday

Worcester Public Schools [WPS] have announced that there will be no school on Monday, December 2 due to a forecast of heavy snow, sleet and freezing rain starting Sunday evening and lasting throughout the day on Monday. 

WPS has also cancelled Head Start programs and before and after school activities for Monday. The Durkin Administration Building will be open at to WPS employee only.

As ThisWeekinWorcester.com reported on Saturday, Worcester is expected to get hit with up to 13 inches of snow and the commute on Monday and early Tuesday morning is likely to be greatly impacted.
