WORCESTER – Due to potential snowfall accumulations of more than ten inches in the city, Worcester Public Schools have announced that there will be no school on Tuesday, March 13

The most recent forecast from the National Weather Service is snow is expected to begin late Monday night and will be at its heaviest on Tuesday morning and early afternoon — falling at a rate of up to two to three inches per hour. Accumulation is expected to be more than 12 inches of snow.

Tuesday’s cancellation is the seventh “snow day” in Worcester this school year and the third in less than a week.
