WORCESTER – On Thursday, a Worcester Police Resource Officer working at North High school received information that a 14-year-old student had arrived to school with an electronic stun gun. According to the WPD, the student was pretending to tase other students with the stun gun.
The officer, along with other school officials, approached the student and asked if he was in possession of the stun gun. The device was found in the student’s locker — a 5,000 volt stun gun model #928.
The student was placed under arrest and charged with Possession of an Electronic Stun Gun and Assault with a Dangerous Weapon. No one was injured and there was minimal disruption at the school.
The juvenile will be arraigned at the Worcester County District Juvenile Courthouse on a date yet to be determined.
