Northborough Man Arrested for Rape, Trafficking Taught at South High in Worcester

UPDATE: Bail was set at $15,000 and Clayton was ordered to forfeit his passport pilot’s license. The judge ordered Clayton not to leave his house except for medical and legal appointments and to wear a GPS monitor. 

Clayton’s case was continued to February 27 for a pre-trial conference.

WORCESTER – John B. Clayton IV, arrested on Tuesday morning by Massachusetts State Police [MSP] on charges of rape, human trafficking, and intimidation of witness, was a former robotics and math teacher at South High in Worcester.

Clayton worked at South for 10 years starting in the early-2000s.

The investigation into Clayton — who was also a professor at Quinsigamond Community College, according to a report by WHDH — began in May 2018. It’s alleged that Clayton targeted, manipulated and exploited women that were addicted to drugs and involved in prostitution.
