WESTBOROUGH – An officer involved shooting has left one person dead in Westborough.
District Attorney Joseph Early Jr. said police responded to a call at the Windsor Ridge apartments in Westborough on Friday at 12:10 PM for a report of a domestic violence situation.
Early said officers arrived on the scene and one officer fired several shots, killing the suspect.
The domestic violence victim was brought to UMass Memorial Medical Center.
The deceased suspect hasn’t been named.
The case remains under investigation by the Westborough PD, Massachusetts State Police and the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.
No further information will be released until Monday, according to the DA’s office.
