WORCESTER – More than an inch of rain is expected to fall starting Tuesday afternoon and into Wednesday in Worcester County, according to the National Weather Service [NWS].
The NWS is predicting 1.28 inches of rain over the next 72 hours — most of which will fall Tuesday evening and early Wednesday morning.
Showers are expected to start after noon on Tuesday. Heavy rains and thunderstorms are possible late Tuesday night along with patchy fog.
Isolated showers early Wednesday morning are expected.
