Storm # 1 For Monday Afternoon & Monday Night: It looks likely that accumulating snow will occur across much of Central Mass on Monday Afternoon & Monday Night.
An area of low pressure is expected to move from the North Carolina and Virginia coast Monday afternoon to near Nantucket during Monday night.
Snow will overspread the entire area during the early afternoon hours of Monday. I do think that rain will mix in with the snow across the lower elevations during Monday afternoon while mostly all snow occurs across the higher elevations, especially the northern Worcester Hills.
A snow-rain mixture is expected to continue across the lower elevations of Central Mass with mostly all snow continuing across the higher elevations on Monday night. This storm will come to an end early Tuesday morning.

It should be noted that this is expected to be a heavy, wet snow & tree branches and power lines will likely be sagged down by the wet snow. This means that some tree damage and some power outages are possible in the higher elevations, especially the northern Worcester Hills.
Storm #2 For Wednesday & Wednesday Night: After a brief break on Tuesday, yet another coastal storm is expected to affect the region on Wednesday and Wednesday night.
Precipitation in the form of rain except a snow-rain mix across the higher elevations will overspread the area during the mid-morning hours of Wednesday. It is possible that the precipitation will gradually change to all snow across the higher elevations with a rain-snow mix over the lower elevations during Wednesday afternoon.
Snow over the higher elevations with a rain-snow mix over the lower elevations is expected to continue through Wednesday night before ending early Thursday morning.
Even though it is too early to pinpoint exact snow amounts for Wednesday and Wednesday night, early indications are that 1 to 3 inches of snow are possible across the lower elevations with perhaps 2 to 4 inches or even 3 to 6 inches of snow possible across the higher elevations.
