WORCESTER – A stolen moped led to the arrest of two men for armed robbery on Sunday, Sept. 22.
Police responded to reports of a stolen vehicle on Crystal Street. Upon arriving at the scene, officers were met by several people.
One individual explained that the group as the group stood by the vehicle, some individuals wearing ski masks and weilding firearms approached them. They allegedly stole the vehicle and fled the scene.
Police located a vehicle belonging to a suspect on Grand Street a short time later. They located the moped and returned it to the owner.
Officers arrested Lucas Parent, 18, and Willie Watson, 21, who face charves of:
- Armed and Masked Robbery; and
- Assault with a dangerous weapon (seven counts).
