PawSox President to Speak at Worcester Senior Center on Wednesday

WORCESTER – Plans to move the Pawtucket Red Sox to Worcester in 2021 will be discussed today at the Worcester Senior Center.

Dr. Charles Steinberg, president of the Pawtucket Red Sox, and Worcester City Manager Edward M. Augustus Jr. will host a meet and greet with seniors as part of the Distinguished Speaker Series on Wednesday at 12:30 p.m. at the Worcester Senior Center.

Organist Marjorie Deshais will also perform musical selections such as “Take Me Out to the Ballgame” and “Sweet Caroline.”

Adding to the baseball theme, popcorn, peanuts and cracker jacks will be available as snacks. This event, which is free and open to the public, is sponsored by Century Home Care and Lutheran Rehabilitation and Skilled Care Center.
