Price Chopper to Offer COVID-19 Vaccine Starting Monday

WORCESTER – Five Price Chopper-Market 32 stores in Worcester County will be offering the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine to individuals who qualify.

Appointments will be based on availability with preference given to people ages 75 and older.

The scheduler will be available on Sunday, Feb.. 7 with initial appointments available on Monday, Feb. 8. A rolling seven days of appointments will be shown at once and new appointments will load every day.

Appointments will be available at the following locations:

  • Price Chopper Pharmacy, 50 Cambridge Street, Worcester
  • Market 32 Pharmacy, 72 Pullman Street, Worcester
  • Price Chopper Pharmacy, 731 Boston Turnpike, Shrewsbury
  • Price Chopper Pharmacy, 2 Worcester Road, Webster
  • Market 32 Pharmacy, 21 Galaxy Pass, Sutton

The Moderna vaccine is a two-dose series, with the second dose administered 28 days after the first. Both doses are needed for full protection from the virus.

The phased allocation of vaccines to designated groups, according to vaccine prioritization guidelines established by each state and immunization jurisdiction and their local health departments, is based in part on guidance from the CDC’s Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP).
