Sports and Recreation Fields Open to Public in Worcester

WORCESTER – The Worcester Division of Parks & Recreation announced on Thursday, April 8, the opening of playing fields and surfaces for both permitted and non-permitted uses.

Over 40 baseball, softball, multi-purpose fields, and tennis courts are now available for use.

Basketball and volleyball courts remain closed based on advice from public health officials.

Organized leagues must submit a plan to the Division of Parks and Recreation before using City fields.

Users of fields must follow COVID-19 protocols, including wearing masks or face coverings and maintaining social distancing.
