Worcester Ties Record-Low Temperature for Today’s Date

by | Nov 9, 2019 | Headlines, News

On Saturday morning, Worcester tied a record that city residents were probably not striving for.

The area saw temperatures reach a low of 15 degrees early — tying a record low temperature for Nov. 9 set in 1971, according to the National Weather Service [NWS].

The cold start to Saturday is the beginning of a brutally cold stretch heading into the next week when a cold front hits the state on Tuesday.
