The Reliant Foundation has released an additional $45,500 in COVID-19 emergency funds to area non-profits.
This brings the total in Reliant funding for COVID-19 support for non-profits in the region to $161,500.
Reliant has tasked previous grantees with establishing tele-health support, emergency childcare and food supply services with previous funding. It has also repurposed previously awarded grants to meet COVID-19 needs in the region.
Reliant’s Board Chair, Elizabeth L.B. Greene, said grantees are now "...Focused on maintaining funding so they can continue to provide these critically needed services in the future.”
The Reliant Foundation was founded in 1988 as a 501 (c)3 public charity and offers grants in non-profit organizations that service central and western Massachusetts with support for critical health issues.
