 by TWIW StaffJuly 10, 2021

LAKE QUINSIGAMOND - The Lake Quinsigamond Commission issued a lake-wide no wake order on Saturday, July 10, for Lake Quinsigamond and Flint Pond.

No wake means operating at headway speed which is no greater than 6 miles per hour. All operators are responsible for their wakes.

The order intends to minimize property damage and protect the shoreline.

The Commission also issued an advisory regarding swimming in the lake due excess runoff from rain on Friday. The Commission does not recommend for swimming in the lake until further notice and the water level decreases.
