Here’s When to Catch Worcester’s Ricky Duran Next on ‘The Voice’

Worcester’s own Ricky Duran returned to NBC’s The Voice last week for the battle round of the singing competition series.

Duran squared off against Marina Chello while they sang “Valerie” by Amy Winehouse. Country music star Blake Shelton chose Duran over Chello to continue on to the show’s knockout rounds. 

After the battle, Shelton said, “Ricky is a star. He’s going to be a threat to everyone in this competition. I love his voice and I love the way he gets lost in the moment. Moving forward, we got to find more songs that he can apply that kind of talent to.”

So when will see Duran next?

Here’s how the knockout round schedule shapes out:

The knockout rounds will start in the middle of the show this Monday, Oct. 28 at 8 PM — beginning at the halfway point [roughly 9 PM] of the episode at the conclusion of the battle rounds.

The knockout rounds will continue:

• Tuesday, Oct. 29 from 8-9 PM
• Monday, Nov. 4 from 8 -10 PM
• Tuesday, Nov. 5 from  8-9 PM

Over the next two weeks, pop and country music star Taylor Swift joins The Voice as a team adviser to help the competitors and coaches on all four teams.

Like the battle rounds, in the knockout rounds, each coach will have only one opportunity for a “steal” — meaning they can try to pry a singer away from another team.

Tune in to The Voice starting Monday night to catch Duran in the knockout rounds.
