Eight is Great: Ricky Duran Continues to Roll on ‘The Voice’

Ricky Duran’s performance of Albert King’s “Born Under a Bad Sign” tore the roof off on Monday night.

And the votes came flooding in from fans.

“I’m happy I got to show America what’s at the core of me. And that’s blues music,” Duran said at the start of Tuesday night’s selection show on The Voice.

Duran was once again selected by the fans to advance to the next round of eight — and just two weeks away from the The Voice finale.

The Worcester singer was the third contestant selected into next week’s semi-finals.

Duran will now enter next Monday night in hopes of earning a place in the show’s finale.
