WORCESTER - A local man was sentenced in federal court on Thursday for his second child pornography offence.
Christopher Rondeau, 37, of Auburn, received a sentence of 10 years in federal prison and 5 years of supervised release. He pleaded guilty in October 2022 to one count of possession of child pornography.
Rondeau has been in federal custody since his arrest.
Authorities discovered a cell phone in Rondeau's residence in November 2020 that contained images and videos of child pornography.
In 2016, Rondeau received a sentence of 68 months in prison for receipt of child pornography. He was released in August 2019 and was on supervised release at the time of his arrest in 2020.
