WORCESTER – A fundraiser for the family of a 17-year-old shooting victim who died early Saturday morning on the crowdfunding website GoFundMe.com.
The fundraising site identifies the victim as Jazmin Rosario and raised $5,680 by 5 PM on Tuesday, January 18. The funds raised are intended for funeral costs.
Worcester Police received a report of a shooting around 2:45 AM on Saturday morning, January 15, at the parking lot of Big Y on Mayfield Street. EMS transported the teen to a local hospital and where she was pronounced dead at 3:23 AM.
