WORCESTER – On December 21, 2014, 23-year-old Sabrina Hatheway went missing and hasn’t been seen or heard from since.
Hatheway is a mother of two. Her children are being raised by relatives.
According to the Worcester County District Attorney’s office, Hatheway was last seen with her boyfriend Kevin Crozier of 11 Dixfield St. in Worcester.
Crozier — along with Lionel Bermudez of Worcester and Scott Phelan of Millbury — was indicted on Conspiracy to arson and arson of a dwelling charges after attempting to burn down the Dixfield St. residence in January 2015 in a futile attempt to collect insurance money. The property was owned by Crozier’s grandmother.
The DA’s office said Crozier offered Bermudez and Phelan $1,000 to help him burn the home down.
In 2017, Hatheway’s mother, Brenda Hatheway, was killed in an act of domestic violence in Webster by her boyfriend Joseph Kenadek.
Kenadek is serving seven to years in prison for second-degree murder.
In 2018, Crozier was sentenced to six years in prison, but was released early in April 2020. The Dixfield St. residence has since been torn down.
The investigation remains open with the Worcester Police Department. Anyone with information on Hatheway’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Worcester Police Detective Bureau at(508) 799-8651 or send an anonymous text to 274637 TIPWPD with your message.
