WORCESTER – The Worcester Police Department [WPD] is seeking the public’s help in identifying two suspects [pictured below] involved in the armed robbery of Walgreens on Park Ave early Sunday morning, Oct. 14.
According to the WPD, officers were dispatched to Walgreens around 6 AM for a report of a commercial armed robbery.
A Walgreens pharmacy employee told officers that one of the male suspects jumped over the counter and pointed a gun at her. The suspect threatened her and demanded that she handover prescription drugs. The two suspects fled with an undisclosed amount of pills from the pharmacy. After the incident, the suspects were seen on Abbott St. as they drove off in a dark colored smaller SUV/Crossover traveling north bound Park Ave from Pleasant Street.
There were no injuries reported.Police continue to investigate.
