See the 18 New Holy Cross Football Players for 2020

WORCESTER – Holy Cross football added 18 news players to its program on signing day yesterday.

Head Football Coach Bob Chesney is bringing in eleven offensive players and seven defensive players from nine different states plus one from Canada.

Chesney attracted five new offensive lineman, including Winchester’s Bryan Pacific (6’4″, 285 lbs) from Dexter Southfield School. All but one of the offensive lineman are 6’4 or 6’5. Eric Schon from Barrie, Ontario is 6’3″ but the heaviest of the bunch at 315 lbs.

The other players from Massachusetts include linebacker Dante Bolden from Springfield, tight end Hunter Lane from Georgetown and defensive back Joe Rivers from Wakefield.

Coach Chesney’s Crusaders finished the season at 7-6 this season, but its 5-1 in conference record lead to the Patriot League championship. They advanced to the NCAA football championship subdivision playoffs

The team has 15 starters returning for 2020.
