WORCESTER – At least one person was shot on Monday night near Mill St. in Worcester, according to police scanner reports.

The shootings occurred near Williamsburg Drive, the Washington Heights apartment complex and 57 Outlook Dr., according to the scanner reports — which are off Mill St. and close to the entrance of June St.

The gunshots were reported around 9:15 PM.

According to the WPD, a 23-year-old male victim was found with a gunshot wound on Outlook Dr. The victim was taken to a local hospital. His injuries are considered non-life threatening.

Late last night, the Worcester Police were searching for a suspect in the shooting and were being assisted by K-9 services from the Massachusetts State Police. Two K-9 units canvassed the area for a suspect.

The suspects vehicle is described as a four-door sedan with a tan top and a black bottom.

There were reports that police are searching for a second victim, but that hasn’t been confirmed by WPD.

According to scanner reports, a pair of shoes were found in the road near the crime scene and police blocked the road at Washington Heights.  It’s not yet clear if the shoes belonged to a second victim or the suspect.
