WORCESTER – Shore Park Beach has been closed until further notice because of laboratory testing showing high levels of E. Coli.
The beach will remain closed until further laboratory tests show the area is safe.
City officials are encouraging individuals and their pets to avoid contact with the beach until further notice.
The Worcester Division of Public Health and the Department of Inspectional Services has ordered Shore Park Beach closed.
Shore Park Beach is located off of Shore Drive on the north end of Indian Lake.
