WORCESTER – As many as 20 rounds were fired on Tuesday night, September 22, on Orient St. in Worcester, according to sources.
The gun shots were reported around 8 PM. Worcester Police also reported that ShotSpotter detected gun fire around 8 PM.
Police found a car parked outside of Road Runner Pizza with multiple bullet holes. Police blocked off Orient St. at the Billings Sq. rotary, which is under construction at Grafton and Hamilton streets.
According to the Worcester Police Department, one vehicle on Hamilton St. was hit by bullets. Another vehicle was hit struck in the area of Branch St.
There are no reported fatalities. Suspects fled the scene with police in pursuit.
