WORCESTER – ‘The Bay Harbor Butcher” is reportedly coming to Worcester.

Sources tell Boston.com, Showtime’s revival of its hit show “Dexter” will begin filming this month in Massachusetts, including in Gardner, Lancaster, Sterling and Worcester.

Boston.com’s sources say much of the filming will take place in Gardner.

The 10-episode revival of Dexter will feature the return of Michael C. Hall in the lead role of “Dexter Morgan,” a vigilante serial killer. The show ran for nearly 100 episodes between 2006 to 2013.

Filming is expected to start later this month and continue through the spring.
