SHREWSBURY – The Shrewsbury Police and Fire Department responded to a boat fire at Donohue Rowing Center and Corrazini Boat Ramp on Lake Quinsigamond around 4 PM on Thursday, May 13.
According to the Shrewsbury Fire Department, Shrewsbury Police Lake Patrol towed the burning boat to a boat ramp where the Fire Department extinguished the fire.
The fire appears to be accidental and forced its owners off the boat when the motor and fuel ignited.
There are no injuries reported as a result of the incident.
