A Southbridge man faces a federal charge for distribution of methamphetamine after being arrested on Tuesday, March 9.
A federal judge detained Christopher Williams, 33, of Southbridge, pending a detention hearing scheduled for Thursday, March 11.
According to the complaint by prosecutors, Williams sold multiple ounces of methamphetamine to an undercover officer for $4,500 in January 2021.
Distribution of methamphetamine provides for a sentence of up to 20 years in prison and a fine of up to $1 million.
