Car Crushed Beneath Tanker on Main St in Spencer on Sunday

SPENCER – Early Sunday morning, a car was crushed underneath a gas tanker on Main St. in Spencer.

According to the Spencer Police Dept., around 4 AM Spencer Police, Fire and ambulances responded to the crash in front of Spencer Xpress Mart at 94 Main St.

The female operator of the Chevrolet was able to exit the car and suffered only minor scratches.

She refused transport to the hospital. The truck driver was not injured.

The cause of the crash is unknown at this time. The investigation is continuing.
