SPENCER – The Spencer Police Department is searching for a man that allegedly committed a lewd act at O’Gara Park on Tuesday, July 2.
According to the Spencer PD, police are investigating a report from a young woman who said she was followed by a man on the Spencer Rail Trail.
The woman called police around 1 PM to report that she was being followed and that the man committed the lewd act at the park.
The woman had jogged on the Rail Trail to O’Gara Park where she uses the stairs in the grandstand to train.
While she was on the stairs, according to the Spencer PD, the woman noticed the man she had seen running in the opposite direction a short time earlier. He was allegedly masturbating while watching her.
The man is described as a white male, roughly 20 years old with brown hair. He estimated to be about 5 feet, 6 inches tall and 200 pounds. [SEE PHOTO BELOW]
The man was wearing a blue T-shirt, dark orange basketball shorts with round prescription glasses.
