State Police Request Public’s Assistance in Investigation of Fatal Hit-and-Run That Killed a Nurse from Worcester

The Massachusetts State Police are seeking the public’s help in its investigation into a fatal hit-and-run that occurred on Sunday, Oct. 29 in East Brookfield on Rt. 9. The crash killed a Worcester nurse.

Lisa German, 54, worked as an ICU nurse at the MetroWest Medical Center in Framingham. She was crossing the street when she was struck.

Investigators from the Massachusetts State Police Detective Unit for Worcester County and the East Brookfield Police Department are asking for anyone who witnessed the crash, stopped to assist, or just was traveling on Route 9 through East Brookfield at approximately 6 p.m. to contact State Police at 508-867-1170.

Investigators also request that anyone who may be able to identify the vehicle shown in the photos below to also contact State Police at that number.
