WORCESTER – Niche Hospitality Group’s Still & Stir Cocktail Bar relocated to 90 Commercial Street a little more than two months ago, but still prides itself on being Worcester’s “premier cocktail bar.”
That, according to Still & Stir’s beverage director, Shayne Filo.
Filo said since moving from its previous building located at 1 Exchange Place, Still & Stir has upped the ante of it’s aesthetic setting into more of a “…modern day cocktail bar.”
“The flow of business has kept a steady pace since our move,” Filo said.
Veteran bartender Mark Anthony Rouse called the “new” Still & Stir, a “…new age, swanky cocktail bar fit to serve all walks of life.”
A signature “swanky” cocktail is “Cloud Wine” [photo above], crafted by bartender Johnny Barlow, which consists of an egg white froth, vodka, bitters, a cabernet floater and other secret ingredients. The cocktail can also be made with mezcal tequila.
“[We take] pride in keeping tradition for crafting cocktails tailored to the individual as well as our studied knowledge of each cocktail, “ said fellow bartender, Johnny Barlow.
A viable setting for a range of events — from a quiet business meeting on a weekday afternoon, or a Saturday night out on the town — and is open seven days a week, including for brunch on Sundays at 11 AM.
Rouse said, “ Based off of the attitude of returning guests, we predict to have a very stable flow of business throughout the winter before entering an even busier spring, we are also excited to accumulate new regulars.
Hours of operation are Monday thru Thursday 5 PM to 12 AM, Friday and Saturday 5 PM to 2 AM and Sundays 11 AM to 8 PM.
