Strong Gusts of Wind, Thunderstorms and Minor Flooding Could Impact Worcester Over Two Days

WORCESTER – Heavy rain is expected throughout Central and Eastern Massachusetts on Tuesday which could result in minor street and highway flooding, according to the National Weather Service [NWS].

In addition to Tuesday’s rainfall, there is a risk for strong or sever thunderstorms beginning Wednesday morning, and then again later Wednesday afternoon and early evening. The NWS states that the main concern on Wednesday in the Worcester area are locally damaging wind gusts.
