WORCESTER – The Worcester Police Dept. made an arrest on Tuesday afternoon in connection with a shooting in the city.

Around 1:15 PM, officers stopped the suspect  — a Hispanic male in a grey hooded sweatshirt and black pants — at the corner of Hamilton and Dallas streets.  The suspect was fleeing the area on foot.

At this time, it isn’t confirmed what shooting the suspect is involved in, but sources have told ThisWeekinWorcester.com that the suspect is likely connected to Saturday night’s drive-by fatal shooting on Country Club Blvd.

Police are also searching for a second suspect. According to radio dispatch, the second suspect is also a Hispanic male.
