UPDATE: City’s Chronic Homelessness Task Force Public Forum Postponed Until Monday

WORCESTER –  The first of two public forums hosted by Worcester City Manager Edward M. Augustus, Jr.’s Task Force addressing chronic homelessness in the city will now be held this Monday, March 26 from 5 PM to 6:30 PM at the Worcester Senior Center. 

The Task Force for Sustaining Housing First Solutions is encouraging members of the community to attend the forum and provide input. Community members can also submit comments and question on homelessness at the recently launched Task Force website

A second public forum listening session will be held on Wednesday, June 13 from 5 PM to 6:30 PM.at the Worcester Public Library.

Beginning this month and going through June 2018, the Task Force will do an in-depth examination of the city’s community needs and how it can better address adult chronic homelessness. The goal of the Task Force is to come up with a plan for permanent supportive housing within the City of Worcester.
