WORCESTER – A pairing of legendary Motown acts will bring their soothing sounds together to the Hanover Theatre in Worcester in September.

The Temptations and the Four Tops will perform in Worcester for one show only on Friday, Sept. 21 at 8 PM. Tickets are currently on sale to Theatre members and will be available to the public beginning Friday, May 4 at 10 AM.

The Temptations — famous for their many hit singles including “The Way You Do The Things You Do,” “My Girl,” and “Ain’t Too Proud To Beg” — were inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 1989.

One year later, The Four Tops followed them into the Hall. Their first Motown hit, “Baby I Need Your Loving,” and their follow-up number one hits “I Can’t Help Myself (Sugar Pie, Honey Bunch)” and “It’s The Same Old Song,” earned them huge fame alongside The Temptations in the 1960s.

Tickets to The Temptations and The Four Tops start at $48. Discounts are available to members of The Hanover Theatre and groups of 10 or more. Tickets are available online at TheHanoverTheatre.org, by phone at 877.571.SHOW (7469) or at The Hanover Theatre box office located at 2 Southbridge Street in downtown Worcester.
