All the Things You Need to Do this Weekend in Worcester

Even in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic, venues all over Worcester are kicking off the weekend with fun for everyone!  Enjoy the weekend by seeing local art, bringing the family to a museum, or celebrating Irish heritage.

Here’s a few that — as of Friday, March 13 — were still going ahead as scheduled. [We will update this list as needed.]

Get a global perspective without leaving the city!

The Sprinkler Factory is hosting a huge event called Art Around the World: Make Art Everywhere in Worcester.

This Saturday, view art inspired by places all over the world, make your own art, dance, and enjoy free food. This event is free, but a $10 donation is recommended.

It’s too early in the season to go to an amusement park, but you can get all the fun of an amusement park without being there this Saturday!

The EcoTarium is opening an Amusement Park Science exhibit. Through immersive activities including the Bumper Blaster, Create-A-Coaster, and Magnetic Circus, children will learn how their favorite rides work. Bring your family to learn the science behind these cool thrills.

You can COUNT on having fun this Saturday!

Every math lover knows that 3/14 is Pi Day, a celebration of a symbol used to find the ratio of a circle’s circumference.

Stillman Quality Meats on 157 Harding Street will be throwing a Pi Day Party

From 11 AM to 3 PM, they will be serving free slices of their homemade chicken pot pie and house made mashed potatoes and gravy. They will also be a very special one day only pie release and pi day only specials!.

Remember the 1990s this Saturday!

Rock legends System of a Down, Megadeth, and Deftones are being revived this Saturday at Ralph’s Rock Diner on 148 Grove Street.

The bands Bullet Called Life, Mechanix, and Adrenaline will be paying a tribute to these punk rock icons. This 21+ show begins at 8 PM with a $10 cover charge.

Dig up your ripped jeans and leather jackets for a high energy show you will not want to miss.

Don’t let the cancellation of the St. Patrick’s parade rain on your parade!

Join Whiskey on Water on 97 Water Street this Saturday for their Pre St. Patrick’s Day Party!

The party starts at 5 PM with live music. There is no entry fee and all partygoers must be 21+, so wear your nicest green to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day early.
