All the Things You Need to Do this Weekend in Worcester

It is the end of another week! This weekend is not like any weekend though; it marks the end of February school vacation.

Treat yourself with a night out – or take out your children as you enjoy the last days of February break!

Indulge your child’s imagination at events all over Worcester. Or go out without the kids, and savor some much needed relaxation time.

Draw up some fun for your kids at the Cartooning Workshop at Mechanics Hall.

Your child will learn how to draw in a cartoon style as award winning and New York Times best selling author and artist, Jarod Krosoczka, gives drawing demonstrations for elementary aged children.

In the spirit of comic books and cosplay, all kids are invited to come dressed as their favorite Star Wars characters.

Tickets are $10 per person, so treat your little artist to a day of creativity! The event runs Saturday, Feb. 23 from 11 AM to 11:45 AM.

Are you a sucker for boy bands?

You may be Team One Direction or Team Jonas Brothers.

At the Worcester Palladium you don’t have to choose between them as they host their Best Night Ever: One Direction vs. Jonas Brothers Dance Party!

Tickets start at fifteen dollars, so dance all night to the best songs ever this Saturday at 8: 30 PM.

Dreaming of somewhere tropical? Hawaii is coming to Worcester!

Live out your vacation fantasies at The Press Box’s Get Lei’d! Hawaiian Luau Karaoke Party!

Get to the Lincoln Street bar at 4 PM this Saturday to take part in the Hawaiian luau with tasty food and drinks. Karaoke begins at 7 PM. Grab a lei and get ready to escape the cold at Press Box!

Have a sweet time at the Worcester Public Library!

Roald Dahl’s childhood favorite, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, is coming to life at the Worcester Public Library at 3 Salem Square this Saturday at 11 AM. Children who are 11 and younger will love the pure imagination of the games and activities scheduled for this event.

The best treat will be a chance of winning a pair of tickets to the upcoming “Roald Dahl’s Charlie and the Chocolate Factory” show at the Hanover Theatre, which is running from March 3 to March 8.

Think about your health!

What better way than following the footsteps of Saint Vincent’s Hospital as they hold their WalkFit Winter 2020 program?

WalkFit Winter 2020 is more than a program, it is a social club for walkers of all abilities. Come this Saturday at 10:30 AM, and walk at your own pace or sit and socialize with other people in the community.
