Leap into the leap year with so many ways to spend the weekend in Worcester!

Do something memorable on your extra day this year!

There are so many choices for you and your family! Make a cute gift for your furry friends, commemorate a cultural event, dance the night away, and play games with new friends.

Your best friend will be wagging his tail for joy this leap year!

Walk your dog into C.C. Lowell for their Drop In Doggie Bandana Marbling! A dog friendly event! Stop in between 11 AM to 3 PM on Saturday to give your dog a treat that you designed.

Bandanas are $25 — or be just as stylish by getting a matching set for you and your pup! Limited supplies are available, so make a reservation ahead of time!

It’s going to be colorful at the Dominican Carnival: A Colorful Tale of Satire and World History.

Visit the JMAC at 20 Franklin Street for both an educational and exciting experience.

The festivities kick off at 1:30 PM with a children art-making activity and extends throughout the afternoon. Stay for a discussion of the history of the carnival and a performance of carnival characters.

Laugh your way through leap day!

You will be cracking up at The Park Room View Room Worcester on 230 Park Avenue this Saturday at 8 PM. They are presenting their first annual Leap Day Comedy Show featuring local comedians.

Puppeteer Harry LaCoste will be bringing this event to life as the host. Tickets are $12 in advance and $15 at the door.

Get out your dancing shoes!

The Noamesco Bar and Lounge on 43 Pleasant Street is staging a huge bash! This Saturday the bar will be blasting with an International dance party hosted by Vera Sidika!

Tickets range from $20 to $30.

No need to be bored this Saturday when you are playing board games!

That’s Entertainment on 244 Park Avenue is giving you the opportunity to test out a selection of tabletop games with demonstrators on staff to help teach you.

Meet some new people and try board games like Tapestry, Mechanica, Artsee, Kill the Unicorns, Welcome to your Perfect Home, and Azul: Summer Pavilion.

Stay until 6 PM to take your chances in a free raffle!
