WORCESTER – An investigation over multiple months, conducted by federal, state and local law enforcement agencies led to the arrest of two Worcester men and a man from Lawrence.
Amin Ventura Polanco Mena, a 36-year-old man, and 31-year-old Yoerlyn Merejo-Mercado, both of Worcester, have been charged with trafficking fentanyl and cocaine.
Lester Deleon, a 25-year-old man from Lawrence, has been charged with trafficking fentanyl.
Detectives from the Massachusetts State Police assigned to the Worcester County District Attorney and Attorney General’s Office, The Worcester Police Vice Squad and the Drug Enforcement Administration’s Tactical Diversion Squad worked together on the investigation.
That investigation led to search warrants, the arrest of the three men and the seizure of 950 grams of fentanyl and 120 grams of cocaine.
All three men are scheduled to be arraigned on Monday by video conference at Worcester Central District Court.
