Three Arrested for Gunshots, Firearms In Worcester

WORCESTER – Two vehicles struck by bullets on Aetna Street on Tuesday, July 20, led to three people from Worcester facing numerous charges. No injuries resulted from the incident.

Police responded to a report of gunshots near Aetna Street at around 12:30 PM. A Massachusetts State Trooper was in the area at the time the shooting occurred and identified a suspected vehicle.

An officer working a construction detail spotted the suspect’s vehicle near Granite Street and Bridgeport Street. The driver pulled over momentarily, then fled the scene.

Police soon found the suspect’s vehicle, unoccupied in the woods off of Granite Street. Officers observed a firearm inside the vehicle and another which appeared to be tossed outside it.

A search of the area led to one arrest near Park Hill Road and two arrests on Nyland Street.

Anslem Kollie, 20, Aaron Guzeh, 22, and Shalon Kollie, 18, all of Worcester, each face the following charges.

  • Firearm, Store Improperly x2
  • Firearm, Carry Without License Loaded x2
  • Firearm Possess, Large Capacity
  • Firearm use in Felony; Firearm Possess Without FID
  • Unlawfully Carrying Firearm;
  • Firearm, Possess Large Capacity Weapon, Feeding Device
  • Unlawfully Carrying, Loaded Firearm
  • Possession of Ammunition Without FID
