WORCESTER – A mixture of sunshine and clouds is expected the rest of today. It will be milder today as compared to yesterday with high temperatures near 45 Degrees.
Cloudy, mild and windy weather is expected tonight.
Temperatures will rise tonight from the lower 40s this evening to between 45 and 50 Degrees by sunrise Saturday morning.
This Weekend: A very mild day is expected on Saturday under cloudy skies. Some scattered showers are expected during Saturday afternoon. High temperatures Saturday will be in the upper 50s to near 60 Degrees. Worcester’s record high temperature Saturday is 58 Degrees set in 1924. This record could either be tied or broken.
Scattered showers are expected on Saturday night and it will be very mild with temperatures in the mid to upper 50s.
Heavy showers and a few thunderstorms are expected between about 7 am and 10 am Sunday morning. There is also the possibility for a couple of strong to severe thunderstorms that could produce up to 50 to 60 mph wind gusts. The showers and thunderstorms will end by midday with some sunshine expected during Sunday afternoon.
Record high temperatures are expected on Sunday morning with near 60 Degree temperatures expected. Temperatures are then expected to fall through the 50s during Sunday afternoon. Worcester’s record high temperature Sunday is 59 Degrees set in 2018. This record could either be tied or broken.
Monday is expected to be partly sunny with high temperatures between 40 and 45 Degrees.
Tuesday is expected to be partly sunny with high temperatures near 40 Degrees.
Some light snow is expected on Tuesday night that will change to sleet, freezing rain and rain towards sunrise Wednesday morning. Some light freezing rain, sleet and rain is expected first thing Wednesday morning, but will end by later Wednesday morning. Cloudy skies are then expected during Wednesday afternoon. Low temperatures Tuesday night will be near 30 Degrees. High temperatures Wednesday will be near 40 Degrees.
A stronger low pressure system may bring a mixed bag of precipitation consisting of snow, sleet and freezing rain late Wednesday night through the day on Thursday. Low temperatures Wednesday night will be near 30 Degrees. High temperatures Thursday will be near 35 Degrees.
