WORCESTER – A federal grand jury indicted a local man for his alleged involvement in a cocaine distribution network.
Hector Torres, 32, of Worcester, faces charges of conspiring to distribute and to possess with intent to distribute over 500 grams of cocaine. Torres will appear for arraignment in Worcester at a later date.
In June 2022, Torres allegedly conspired with others to distribute more than 500 grams of cocaine.
The charge of conspiring to distribute 500 or more grams of cocaine provides for a mandatory minimum sentence of five years and up to 40 years in prison, at least four years of supervised release, and a fine of up to $5 million.
