WORCESTER – The Worcester Police Department has issued a pair of traffic advisories for two events on Saturday: the Canal Diggers 5K and the Pride Block Party.
The Canal Diggers 5K Road Race will impact traffic briefly on Franklin Street from Foster Street to Church Street from 10 AM to 11 AM. The race is starting at Polar Park at 10 AM.
The Pride Block Party is being held at the Worcester Beer Garden and will close Franklin Street from Church Street to Main Street from 9 AM to 5 PM.
Police are asking motorists to be patient during the events and to be alert for pedestrians on the road.
