Governor Charlie Baker’s office today issued new guidance for all travelers arriving in Massachusetts to self-quarantine for 14 days.
Any traveler displaying symptoms will be instructed not to travel to Massachusetts.
This new guidance will be displayed in service plazas on the eastbound side of I-90, as flyers within major transportation hubs and on highway message boards.
These notices will begin appearing today.
Workers in healthcare, public health, public safety, transportation and other designated essential areas are exempt from the requirement.
